California: Parental Notification Initiative

In California, a girl under age 18 can't get a cavity filled, or an aspirin dispensed by the school nurse without a parent knowing. But a physician's assistant, nurse, or midwife can perform an abortion on a young girl without informing a parent.

Qualifying and passing a Parental Notification Amendment is of crucial importance in California because approximately 20,000 abortions per year are performed on minor girls in California, which is about 20% of all abortions performed on minor girls in the USA.

Parental Notification needs to gather hundreds of thousands of valid signatures to get the initiative on the ballot, and they need your help!  Gather signatures at your church, from friends or at your next local pro-life event!
