Do You Know? Do You Care? Just the Facts

By C.J. Williams, Social Media Coordinator Survivors

What you don't know may not hurt you.  What you don't know about Albuquerque, New Mexico, though, might just hurt someone else.

Because New Mexico is the late-term abortion capital of the United States, and its Southwestern Women's Clinic is run by apprentices of George Tiller, men and women ready and willing to execute babies 36 weeks and beyond, and send their moms screeching to emergency rooms after muffed procedures.

So what are the facts?

In Albuquerque, New Mexico abortion is wholly unregulated, highly costly , subsidised by medicaid, and available late-term past 28 weeks.  (A recent botched abortion by Shelly Sella -- under investigation yet still aborting babies without stop by the Health Dept. -- sent a 26 yr old New York woman to the E.R. with uterine rupture. She blithely claims she "couldn't have known" about the woman's risk, or previous c-section.)

911 Calls.jpg

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, 911 calls have become the norm (see link in image right) . Operation Rescue, and Survivors' partners, Project Defending Life, exposed the abortion biz routinely sending women to the E.R.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico,  liability paperwork given out by SouthWestern Women's Clinic bluntly informs mothers abortion is more  dangerous than birth . Then asks them to sign away the right to sue.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico abortions starting at 25 weeks cost from $8,000 to $16,000.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico abortionist Shelly Sella testified that about 90 percent of all third-trimester abortions in the U.S. are performed in four or five clinics around the country. Two of these are owned by New Mexico's Curtis Boyd, who owns the Southwestern Women's Clinic out of which Sella performs abortions. (Three other private clinics killing kids past 25 weeks and viability are in Maryland, California, and Colorado.)

In Albuquerque, New Mexico,  the clinic that employs Sella is not required to be licensed or inspected by the state Department of Health.  (Even the Albuquerque Journal -- pro-abort, liberal -- admits this.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, late-term abortion is big money, big business, and so big on no-holds-barred, all-things-go, even an abortionist has complained about how little regulated and safety-netted her killing practise is.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, Live Action went undercover at these very clinics where medical "professionals" advised mothers to deliver dead babies on toilets in hotel rooms, and agree with undercover investigators: "We can't deliver, you know, a live baby. It's, like you deliver a dead baby."

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kristina, Survivors Outreach Director, asked a young woman -- pro-abortion -- on campus, if she knew that her state had the least  restrictions, and the most access  on and to abortion in the entire United States. "Yeah," said the girl, "I know and I'm PROUD."

NOW . . .

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, Survivors, along with the prolife community that exposed  Gosnell and stood for life  in Texas launching a 9 day campaign, asking the citizens of Albuquerque, and the citizens of this nation:

DO YOU KNOW? DO YOU CARE?
