Read MoreUniversities used to be places of learning that hosted a free exchange of ideas. No longer. Three and a half weeks ago, my sisters’ peaceful pro-life outreach at UC Santa Barbara was rudely interrupted by a professor who gathered a small mob of students to shout down any attempt at conversation, stole their sign and, while escaping to her office with the sign and a few of her students, pushed and scratched Thrin.
Read MoreSanta Barbara, CA, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 - On March 4, 2014 a group of peaceful activists were battered and had their property stolen by a radical UC Santa Barbara Professor whose area of educational expertise is pornography. The DA has filed misdemeanor charges against Professor Mireille Miller-Young.
Read MoreWe hope that the only example set by her actions is that crime will not be tolerated by the DA, nor the University of California. The prosecution should reach a resolution that deters anyone from committing these crimes again.
Read MoreIn the last week, we have received an overwhelming outpouring of support for Joan, Thrin, and for Survivors. Our emails, blog, Facebook page, and phone have all been flooded with encouraging messages from people who are familiar with Survivors, and from many who had not heard of our ministry before. We’ve heard from from UCSB alumni, UCSB students, and the general public.

I gave her a sign to hold while I stood nearby passing out fliers as fast as I could. Soon I noticed that my sister, Thrin, had brought a girl over to show her the back of the sign Sarah was holding.
Shortly after, a woman stopped by and I could see my roommate, Mairead, talking to her with Sarah chiming in now and then. I hoped it was good conversation for Sarah's first time. Then Thrin came around to the front of the sign and joined in. I was afraid, at this point, that the woman might feel like they were ganging up on her. Boy was I wrong!
Read MoreJust teenagers? Think again! Anyone can make a difference. Tess and Sydney Volanski are two average high school students, but their love for the Lord and preborn children sets them apart. These sisters are leading a nationwide effort which is successfully exposing injustice.
Read MoreEven more sadly, though, we see the devastation that abortion has caused in the lives of African American women and men. Students have bought the lies that they need abortion, that abortion empowers them to pursue college degrees, and that babies are burdens.

Survivors is a Christian, pro-life activism organization dedicated to educating and activating high school and college age individuals.
If you were born after 1972, we challenge you to consider yourself a Survivor of the Abortion Holocaust. 1/3 of your generation has been killed by abortion in America!
The Survivors are taking an active stand on behalf of those who have already been lost, and for those who are scheduled to die through abortion. We are empowered by the truth, enabled by extensive training, and unafraid of condemning the death of innocents.
