Because we need to win!

In his book,The Case for Life, Scott Klusendorf, former pastor and now one of the foremost pro-life thinkers in the country, gives three important goals that we need to accomplish in order to win the abortion debate in America.  

The work of Survivors serves to accomplish all three of these goals, but I just want to talk about the first today.  And that is to recruit more full-time pro-life apologists.

Gregg Cunningham, another great pro-life thinker, put it bluntly:

"There are more people working full-time to kill babies than there are working full-time to save them.  That's because killing babies is very profitable while saving them is very costly.  So costly that large numbers of Americans who say they oppose abortion are not lifting a finger to stop it. And those that do lift a finger to stop it do just enough to salve the conscience but not enough to stop the killing."

Survivors Camp is a great way to inspire your kids, not just to take a pro-life position, but to stop the killing!  Many of our campers go home with a strong resolve to do whatever it takes to do just that!

This might not be every parent's dream for their children, but I can say as a minister of Christ that He is pleased with it.
